PRINCIPLES OF PRAYER
One of the best books I’ve ever read is the small, helpful modern classic, THE HOUR THAT CHANGES THE WORLD by Dick Eastman. It divides an hour into 12 segments of 5 minutes, each focused on a different aspect of prayer such as praise, intercession , confession, etc. There is no reason why every believer can’t become a mighty man or woman in prayer-especially if we understand the multiple ways of approaching God. If you have never read the book I encourage you to pick up a copy and let it encourage you to become more adept and effective in prayer. The world won’t change by itself unless it gets worse. We can change the world through prayer!

LAST SUNDAY’S SERMON ON PRAYER:
Kie, great post. I heard John MacArthur in a sermon on prayer (out of Ephesians 6) today. He said: “We were saved for fellowship with God and the greatest form of fellowship is prayer.”.
